Grab your sunnies: this $1.2 million wedding dress is very, very sparkly.

Grab your sunnies and maybe some factor 50 – you’re about to see a $1.4 million wedding dress and crikey, it’s blinding.

The bank-breaking number was worn by 23-year-old Victoria Swarovski (yes, of THOSE Swarovskis) for her marriage to high school sweetheart Werner Mürz over the weekend.

I said YES to the love of my life! ❤️❤️❤️

“I said YES to the love of my life,” the Austrian singer captioned a picture of the pair on her Instagram.

Covered in 500,000 Swarovski crystals, the dress was by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco, who counts celebrities including Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez among his clients.

It was customised for the heiress from a dress from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

Weighing a whopping 46 kilograms, this was one wedding dress that simultaneously acted as a workout.

The tulle, crystal and lace gown also reportedly featured an eight metre veil and train.

It was one of three dresses worn by Swarovski for the nuptials. She wore a scarlet red strapless dress with a mullet hem for a “Pasta and Love” welcome dinner the night before the wedding before changing into a strapless slinker (and probably significantly lighter!) white dress for the wedding reception in the evening.

Vogue has named the wedding trends that are over for 2017. Post continues…

According to Vanity Fair Italy, the wedding was held in the Cathedral of San Giusto in Trieste, Northern Italy in front of around 25o guests. before the party moved to a luxury resort in Portopiccolo about 20 kilometres away.

Swarovski, who won Austria’s version of Dancing With The Stars in 2016, and the 40-something-year-old investment banker have been together since 2010 and got engaged in May last year.
