Costume Institute Benefit Gala - MET Ball

The annual Costume Institute Benefit Gala is the fashion world’s Oscars, every A-lister hits the red carpet for this one. It’s known as the Met Ball because it is always held at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York. It serves as a launch to an accompanying exhibition, this year the exhibition ‘Savage Beauty’ focuses on the work of the late British designer, Alexander McQueen. Just in case you didn’t hear, McQueen is also the design house that bought you the Royal Wedding frocks.
