She doesn’t move in for another week or so, but already the future First Lady of the United States is putting her stamp on the White House.
Melania Trump has reportedly made plans to overhaul one of the 16 rooms of the first family’s residence to create a space for the sole purpose of getting dolled up.
The Slovenian-born former model’s makeup artist, Nicole Bryl, told US Weekly, that there will “absolutely be a room for hair, makeup and wardrobe”.
“Melania wants a room with the most perfect lighting scenario, which will make our jobs as a creative team that much more efficient, since great lighting can make or break any look,” she said.
(Note to self: It’s not your face; it’s the lighting in the bathroom. Definitely the lighting.)
Bryl also revealed that it takes roughly one hour and 15 minutes of "uninterrupted focus" to complete the 46-year-old's makeup.
For next week's inauguration, it may even take longer.
I mean, it's not every day your husband becomes the most powerful person in the western world. You'd want to look your best.
"There will be a meeting with the entire creative team to discuss the look for each given event for that day, as there will be several," Bryl told US Weekly.
"Melania will absolutely let us know what she envisions for herself, since she always has such a strong and secure idea of how she likes things. It makes it that much easier for the rest of us to team together and execute her vision."
Tune in to ABC at 3am AEST on January 21 to see if they nailed it.
