It would appear Prince Harry is well on the "shredding for the wedding" bandwagon.

Heeeeey, who said it was up to the bride to shred for the wedding? (Actually, the patriarchy, but that’s for another time.)

Yes, it would appear Prince Harry is kicking some bad habits, aligning himself a little more with his “health-conscious bride-to-be,” such is the wording of royal expert Katie Nicholl.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry has cut out carbs in the lead-up to the wedding, instead finding himself a partial to Instagram buzz-foods, colloquially known as quinoa and kale.

Meghan Markle had to go to ‘kidnapping training’ and we need to talk about it. Post continues after audio.

Writing for Vanity Fair, Katie Nicholl said when Harry met Meghan, he cut out junk food because his bride-to-be loves to eat “lean, clean, and green” foods.

She goes on:

According to the friends I spoke to, Harry also started taking up regular exercise with a trainer at a central London gym and began a new morning routine with a vitamin-infused green smoothie. “We all ribbed him a bit because he suddenly got super healthy. It was obviously dating Meghan that kicked off his health drive,” said a friend.

In an interview with Best Health last year, Markle said she is conscious of what she eats, but never deprives herself.

“When I’m filming, I’m conscious of what I eat. I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends.

“It’s all about balance. Because I work out the way I do, I don’t ever want to feel deprived. I feel that the second you do that is when you start to binge on things. It’s not a diet; it’s lifestyle eating.”
