The royal wedding may have passed but the royal fever isn’t over just yet.
Just under a month after her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has jumped straight into her new role as the Duchess of Sussex.
The 36-year-old ex-Suits actress joined the Queen at a number of events earlier this week, and although Prince Harry wasn’t present at the events in Chester – Meghan couldn’t stop talking about him.
Hundreds of fans packed the streets of the English town to greet the Queen and the Duchess, who were in Chester to officially open a new toll bridge and a library, theatre and cinema complex.
In a video shared on Twitter by one of the members of the Chester crowd, one woman is heard asking Meghan how her new marriage to Prince Harry is going.
“It is wonderful, I’m really enjoying it,” Meghan replied.
“Give our love to Harry,” the women added.
“I will do. That means an awful lot to us. He’s the best husband ever,” Meghan responded.

Meghan Markle’s visit to Chester was her first time attending a royal engagement without Prince Harry.
The Queen and Meghan travelled to the town overnight together on the royal train.
According to The Mirror, the royal train is normally only ever used by the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla.
On the day, Meghan was seen wearing a pair of pearl earrings, that are said to be a gift from the Queen, with some saying the gift may have been in commemoration of their first royal outing together.
