Well, this is just delightful news, especially on a Monday.
Mecca Cosmetica have dropped their prices by up to 20% across Mecca Cosmetica, Mecca Maxima and Kit Cosmetics stores.
It’s the third time in as many years that they have adjusted their prices, Mecca Cosmetica are citing a strong Australian dollar as the reason for the drop.
“Thanks to a healthy and stable Australian dollar, we are able to bring our customers the best global brands as close to international prices as possible, with some of our favourite products reduced by up to 20%.
“It’s part of Mecca’s ongoing quest to ensure that we have the best brand and product edit, the best service, and the very best customer experience,” a spokesperson for Mecca explained.
So that $45 NARS eyeshadow you’ve been debating about? It’s now $38. Eve Lom’s Eye Lift serum is now $96, down from $110 and Stila’s All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner is now $26. The same product sells in the US for $20 and taking the exchange rate into account it retails for $21.40. We’re not quite at parity yet, but near enough is pretty great.
