Do French women do maternity style better? Bastille Day (Monday, July 14) has prompted me to think about my French sisters and particularly those who attend un bébé.
Plenty has been written about how the French women don’t get fat, raise better behaved children and in general seem to float through life looking effortlessly stylish.
However, pregnancy can be a great leveller so what do French women do when they are “ripe with child” and their belly precedes them into the café?
