Two and a half years after getting hitched on the day they first met, Married at First Sight couple Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner are getting ready to welcome their first child into the world.
The loved-up pair celebrated their new member of the family’s impending arrival with a gold-themed baby shower over the weekend.
“HELLO BABY,” Hendrix captioned an image shared to Instagram on Sunday.
“We had such a fantastic day yesterday at our baby shower with our amazing family and friends.”
Also getting in on the social media action, Garner shared a photo of himself and Hendrix, writing, “What an amazing baby shower, @zoehendrix you looked divine.”
Announcing the pregnancy in May, Hendrix said the pair – who were the only couple to survive from season one of the experimental Channel 9 show – were “over the moon” about expanding their family.

The upcoming arrival comes following a devastating miscarriage last year.
Speaking to Mamamia at the time, Hendrix said, "Some women when they've had a miscarriage and go on to have another pregnancy, they were petrified right up until the birth because you just never know.
"It’s the unknown, the unexplainable. It can happen for no reason."
From the looks of things, mum, dad and soon-to-arrive baby are all doing well.
