If you were doing anything other than watching the Married at First Sight dinner party last night, we sincerely apologise. You missed one of the most explosive nights in reality television history.
You see, after a few drinks, fan favourite Keller unleashed his crazy.
Fellow contestant (participant? lab rat?) Bella was openly discussing her sex life, speaking candidly about how she didn’t want children, and made an offhanded remark about having had lots of relationships in the past.
Keller, who was clearly uncomfortable talking about sex on national television, retorted: “I bet you have. After sleeping with a guy after one night, I bet you’ve been in a lot of relationships.”
Oh.

WHO AM I MARRIED TO?! Image via Giphy.
Keller's experimental partner Nicole, who previously had nothing but positive things to say about him, immediately asked him, "Why would you say that? That was so mean."
And in that moment, women all over Australia breathed a sigh of relief. Because we have ALL had that moment.
The moment you realise the person you're seeing/dating/fake-married to is not the person you thought they were.

Are you... Are you going to have a fight right now? Image via Channel 9.
The situation at the Married at First Sight dinner party continued to escalate to the point where Keller actually tried to physically fight Bella's partner, Michael.
Jesus. Just as a PSA to all men everywhere: No woman wants to see her partner fight someone. Ever.
Fighting is awkward AF and you are not Hugh Grant or Colin Firth so the awkwardness will NOT work in your favour.

You may only fight if you are Colin Firth in Bridget Jones. And you are not. Image via Giphy.
But fighting or otherwise, all of us have had a 'deal-breaker' moment in the early stages of a relationship when we see something that didn't seem to be there before.
In theMamamiaoffice, we found a number of stories. Names have been changed to preserve people's anonymity/dignity, but Nicole, we hope these make you feel significantly less alone.

"My ex-boyfriend got drunk at our family Christmas. Like, really drunk." - Rachel, 28.
"I realised my partner was secretly living with his parents at age 30." - Mary, 34.
"I realised a girl I was dating was actually a total arsehole when we were in Coles one day and she just walked to the front of a SUPER long check-out line and demanded a stranger to let her cut in." - Becky, 21.
"He started bitching about how his mum hadn't cleaned his room." Sophie, 26.

Oh. No. Image via Giphy.
"I was lying in bed with a former boyfriend, drifting into sleep, and he asked, 'What's your favourite body of water?' before saying, 'If you were a flower I'd be so conflicted as to what to do. Part of me would want to let you grow and be natural knowing that it's not forever, but another part of me would want to cut you and press you so I could keep you forever.' Spoiler: I did not go to sleep that night." - Jessica, 32.
"An ex and I were on the beach with a group of friends. My ex brought up an argument her and I were having earlier that day... It was still not resolved. She wanted to get other people's opinions on it. To see if they, too, thought I was in the wrong. It was such a dick move. And it was the first time I was really like, 'Wow, that person is not who I thought they were'." Annie, 29.
"He told me he didn't find women funny. On the second date." Claire, 43.

"He told me that he was a really good singer and then preceded to sing to me on the phone. And he was really trying." Caity, 22.
Lucky for us, we weren't (fake) MARRIED to the person who turned out to be rude or a bad drunk or disrespectful to their parents. And even if we were embarrassed it public, it wasn't then aired on NATIONAL TELEVISION.
At the same time, however, weallhave our inner crazy, and our weird/annoying/disturbing little quirks aren't always a dealbreaker. ButMarried at First Sighttaught us that at the very least, you should always, always get drunk with someone before you marry them.
