By ELISSA RATLIFF.
It’s Friday. Which means two things – it’s almost the weekend and it’s time for Mamamia’s Best and Worst.
A place where you can share the highs and lows of your week with the MM community. Like therapy, only cheaper.
I’ll kick us off.
Best:
I was lucky enough to see Nora at the Belvoir St Theatre here in Sydney last week. And it was amazing.
Nora is a modern adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic A Doll’s House. It deals with a woman wanting to leave her family – the key being how much will a woman put up with and why? I won’t tell you too much about it, because it’s running for a few more days (which you can find out here). But I will say this –the cast was great. And the set was brilliant. I took a sneaky shot of it before the show started here:
If you have time over the weekend and you’re in Sydney – head up to the Belvoir St Theatre in Surry Hills and go see it.
Worst:
The news this week. From Pistorious to the Lockhart tradgedy, the news has been filled with a lot of horrible things.
