
GenerationOne is a not for profit organisation founded by Andrew and Nicola Forrest (Australia’s richest couple). They set it up this year to show the importance of education, training, mentoring and employment as the best means for ending the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. This ‘disparity’ is sometimes referred to as ‘the gap’. And it needs to close.

On Sunday night 13 year old Madeline Madden was the voice of GenerationOne speaking to the nation in a TV commercial that aired across the country. Perhaps you saw it.
