Netflix has served us one fluffy romantic-comedy to satisfy your need for ‘so-bad-it’s-good’ entertainment this Easter long weekend and trust us, they have not disappointed.

In this wedding-less era of self-isolation, the filmLove Wedding Repeatdishes out the bonkers drama we’ve all been so hopelessly deprived of. It’s like witnessing a drunken and disastrous wedding right in your living room. What more could you want?

In a sunny, Italian castle, the film follows Jack as he tries to salvage his sister Hayley’s wedding after a man from her childhood rocks up unattended and declares his undying love for her, threatening to ruin the ceremony altogether.

It basically a delicious cocktail ofWedding CrashersandLove Actually, but happening all in one day and with more… alcohol.

There are some profound and utterly discombobulating questions to come from the film, such as why would anyone A) invite their brother’s ex-girlfriend to their wedding, B) also invite her new boyfriend and C) sit them all on the same table?

But once you put aside the fact that almost none of it makes sense… you’ll appreciate it for what it is: A nonsensical, completely cringy and entirely hilarious 90 minute film.

Plus, it has a stellar cast, featuring Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, Freida Pinto, and Aisling Bea. Oh, and Eleanor Tomlinson, who you may recognise as Jas fromAngus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.

I loved #LoveWeddingRepeat so much! I don’t know why people are hating on it, I watched I twice and laughed out loud both times. Some of the characters are caricatures—not to be taken seriously. They’re supposed to make you uncomfortable too (because men like Sidney exist).
