Got a text! Meet all the Islanders cast in Love Island UK 2024.

It’s about to be the season of brain rot and binge-watching, because Love Island UK is coming back and we could not be any more stoked about it.

The 2024 season is sure to be filled with hot dates, heads-turning and cringe-worthy talent show performances, so get ready to roll the tapes.

If you’re not familiar with Love Island, a dating show where singles are thrown into a villa and forced to decide to 'couple up' with their current partner or switch to someone new, there's 11 seasons already filmed for you to indulge in the lead up to this year (we'd recommend season four).

This year host Maya Jama will be back in all of her iconic cut-out dresses, and the new islanders will be back in the classic villa located in Majorca, Spain

The cast of Love Island 2024.

Without further ado, meet your Islanders for season 12.

Ciaran is an early favourite to win this season according to betting odds.

Jess White, 25

Occupation: Retail Manager

Jess is single and looking for her perfect man, but she warns she’s not easily pleased. She’s really into fitness and is an only child, which she says means she likes getting her own way. Jess will tell it like it is and isn’t afraid to be her loud, bubbly self.

Sam Taylor, 23

From: Chesterfield

Occupation: Hair Stylist

This tattooed, bearded Islander is a hairdresser and stylist from the UK’s North. Sam admits he’s more than just "making girls' hair look pretty for a living" and that other Islanders shouldn’t judge him before getting to know him. He’s looking for a real connection after trying to find his match for quite some time without success.

Nicole Samuel, 22

Image: ITV

From: Aberdare, Wales

Occupation: Accounts Manager

Nicole is the youngest girl on Love Island 2024 at age 22, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be meek. She's a former world champion street dancer, having won the title in 2011 and is hoping to find a rugby player to couple up with in the villa. She’s been enjoying the single life of late and is used to the attentions of different boys.

Ronnie Vint, 27

Image: ITV

From: East Sussex

Occupation: Footballer

Ronnie is a semi-professional footballer from South East London who has put his career on hold to focus on finding a wife in the Love Island villa. His best friend is ex-Sunderland footballer Bradley Dack, and he considers The Only Way Is Essex’s Olivia Attwood like a big sister. Ronnie's type is blondes (his celebrity crush is Margot Robbie) but he will consider brunettes.

Munveer Jabbal, 30

Image: ITV

From: Surrey

Occupation: Recruitment Manager

Munveer works as a recruitment manager and is friends with Piers Morgan's son Spencer. Munveer hasn't had luck dating in London so he's hoping to find the right girl in the villa, though he admits to being quite picky with high standards. He’s hoping a villa full of single women will help him find the one.

When is Love Island 2024 being released?

Love Island UK will premiere in the UK on Monday, June 3, with episodes being uploaded in Australia from June 5.

Each new episode is expected to drop on 9Now at 6pm.

What is the Love Island 2024 gossip?

So far there is not a lot of Love Island gossip between contestants yet, but we will be sure to keep you in the loop with the biggest scandals here.

However we do have some hints on the villa, which has undergone a luxurious makeover, including the steamy hideaway retreat with a neon sign that says ‘naughty vibes’.

How does Love Island work?

Love Island is a show where young singles are placed into a villa during summer and form connections with one another. They’re coupled up with another islander at the start and have to decide whether to stick with them or recouple with someone new (this is called having your head turned).

Islanders are regularly given the opportunity to recouple. They sleep in their couple and perform challenges together, but also face being voted off by fellow Islanders or the public if their connection doesn’t seem genuine or if one person is disliked. If so, they’ll be dumped from the villa.

The show also has an iconic ‘Casa Amore’ section, when the coupled-up Islanders are split in two and then offered a whole new batch of sexy singles to turn their heads. They must also face Bombshells, who come into the villa to test their connections.

At the end, there is one winner. They used to be able to choose to share the £50k ‘pot of gold’ prize money or to steal it - the final test to see if their connection was genuine. However, producers have cut this segment from the 2022 and 2023 series.
