Putting a bright colour on your lips for a day at the races (or a wedding, or a party…) is one thing. Making it stay there, however, is quite another — especially when you have canapes and
a few too many glasses of champagne to contend with.
The clever team from Benefit Cosmetics dropped into The Glow HQ to school us on races-friendly makeup techniques. Consider this your guide to lasting lips, modelled here by The Glow‘s editor Edwina. (Post continues after video.)
How it’s done…
Step 1: Apply lip and cheek stain as a base.
Step 2: Apply a hydrating balm.
Step 3: Finish with a coloured gloss.
Step 4: If you want to be a perfectionist, use a hard-angled brush and apply Erase Paste Concealer to get rid of any colour that’s bled.

Team Benefit Australia used the following four products to create Eddie's look:
Posie Tint lip and cheek stain ($55)
