It was #JacketGate all over again. But this time in a very, very different way.

First of all, it wasn’t white shirts. It was blue dresses. Channel 9Todayhost Lisa Wilkinson and guest journalist Rachel Corbett showed up on screen in the same coloured dress during yesterday’sThe Mixed Grillsegment.

The same blue. And the same cut-out texture.

“There’s a conversation that, Rachel, I fear you and I probably should've had before you decided to reach into your wardrobe and choose the same colour dress as me today,” Wilkinson said.

Fellow guest, presenter and comedian Merrick Watts, was also there.

He poked fun at Channel 9 reporter Amber Sherlock - the woman behind the now-infamous " find yourself a jacket" video that was leaked from inside Channel 9 earlier this month.

In the video, Sherlock is seen severely berating fellow journalist Julie Snook for failing to find a jacket before the segment. Both women, as well as a guest they were interviewing, were wearing white.

“I wasn’t going to bring this up but can one of you please put a jacket on?” Watts told Wilkinson and Corbett yesterday, imitating Sherlock's frustration.

Wilkinson continued it: "Can you please give her the jacket?" she asked Watts, who was wearing a navy blazer.

"You know what the issue is?" Corbett pointed out. "The jacket's also blue."

The three of them laughed and carried on with the segment.

A completely different way to handle a wardrobe malfunction. And no leaking-of-footage necessary.
