In a 2015 interview with Daily Life, Lisa said her mother had been “shunted between orphanages as a child”, having grown up with a mother who was a chronic alcoholic.
“Mum sort of grew up not kind of knowing where she was going to lay her head, and, um, she met an angel in the shape of my dad,” Lisa said.
Lisa’s father Ray died at age 69 in May 1990, after battling cancer.
Our thoughts are with Lisa and her family at this time.
