Well, wouldn’t you want to know if your kids were going to come into contact with a

former child star

criminal?

The presence of Lindsay Lohan, 28, at a childcare center in Brooklyn, New York as part of her community service has been brought to parents’ attention in a letter sent home.

In it, parents are warned — as if she were a particularly virulent strain of swine flu — that the Mean Girls star could come in contact with their children.

It reassures them that she’ll be “under constant supervision” and that “volunteers are never left alone with children”. Phew!

Lohan was warned last week that she would face “consequences” if she does not complete the 125 hours of community service she’s required to do following a reckless driving charge in 2012.

She’s so far done… nine hours and 45 minutes.

Like a child whose dog ate her homework, Lindsay has come up with some creative reasons as to why she hasn’t been able to do it. Her last, according to TMZ, was that the community services centre in London where she was supposed to do her service has moved and she’d have to hire a car service for the three-hour round-trip to get there.

Linds also has difficulty discerning what is and isn’t community service.

She previously tried to count greeting fans, letting young people “shadow” her during rehearsals, and appearing on-stage in her play in her official hours of service to her community.

A judge did not agree.

Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Holley, appeared before judge Mark A Young in Los Angeles on her behalf earlier this month, and the judge agreed to allow Lohan to complete her community service in Brooklyn.

“If it is not done by May 28 there will be consequences,” Young told Holley.

Poor LiLo.
