In case you missed Lily Allen’s sloshed catfight with Elton John a few days ago when they hosted a GQ awards night, here it is.
The next day she wrote on her MySpace page that she felt so bad she wanted to kill herself – the post was soon removed. She obviously recovered enough to balance on some interesting shoes……

I'm with Kate, this is not Lily's first public display of getting completely written off since her miscarriage. After the Glamour Awards she also posted comments on her blog (apparently - i read this in a mag somewhere or maybe it was Perez) where she was completely mortified at her behaviour asking her supporters for their opinions on her performance.
I think the drink is starting to rule Lily rather than Lily being in control of the drink. I hope she gets some support and deals with the grief of her miscarriage and also the breakdown of her relationship (which occurred as a result of the miscarriage). She is a very talented and gutsy young woman.
I almost want to stick up for the girl, what's her name, Lily something. See Elton is such a prick. Even though he is a wholesome homosexual. Well, these days, anyway.
Back in 1970, please don't groan too loudly ladies, you'll wake the audience.
Anyway, back in 1970, Elton was one heck of a talent. Producing records with Bernie Taupin as his lyricist, he was not so much the voice of the early 70s, but the hint of something other than rock and roll. Yellow Brick Road. You wouldn't imagine that record to become a top selling rock album. He created an alternate take on pop music, and it was fun, lyrical and melodic.
And then he became a monster! Big glasses, flamboyant beyond all get out, and gay, and more Rocket Man than songwriter...and my generation left him alone.
And he was known to get feisty at functions, so I think it poetic justice that a young Lily Allen pulls a similar stunt on him. Although I love his grandfatherly indignation at her behaviour.
And so the wheel turns....
