Former The Hills star Lauren Conrad is pregnant and of course her announcement is perfect.

2017 is already shaping up to be life-changing year for Lauren Conrad.

The former The Hills star and current fashion designer and lifestyle guru took to Instagram on New Year’s Day to announce she was pregnant.

“Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…,” she captioned the photo of a sonogram.

It will be the first child for Conrad and musician husband William Tell, 36, who married in September 2014 after two years of dating.

The 30 year old had spoken briefly about having children with Tell but said she didn’t want to rush it.

“My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with,” she wrote on her blog in 2015.

“Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun.”

She also shared how many children she’d like to have.

“Maybe two. That way we aren’t outnumbered,” she said.

The pair had their first date on Valentines Day 2012 but had actually met once before that, before Conrad rose to fame in reality TV show Laguna Beach.

“I met my husband when I was 16 and sitting on stage at one of his concerts [Tell was in the band Something Corporate from 2001 to 2004],” Conrad wrote on her blog.

So nice to have the day off to do a little exploring…
