Morning Show co-host and former Price is Right star Larry Emdur has publicly embarrassed his 21-year-old son Jye – and for all the right reasons.

Emdur, 50, uploaded a photo of his son to his Instagram account to celebrate his nomination for the 2014 Cleo Bachelor of the Year contest.

But instead of encouraging people to simply ‘vote’ for his son, he took it to the next level, writing a lengthy yet hilarious caption explaining the night that Jye was conceived.

About 22 years ago, Sylvie and I went out for a nice dinner, had a nice bottle of wine then went home and made Jye,” the Men’s Health Celebrity Man of the Year started. 

Larry Emdur:  “I wanted to give my wife back the healthy body she married.”

“Today Jye made the Cleo Bachelor of the Year list and I believe he owes me that nice bottle of wine back,” Emdur said.

“It’s a tough field of great guys, you can vote for your fave (maybe Jye) at Cleo.com.au. This reminds me of my steamy centerfold in Horse’n’Hound in August of ’68.

This is not the first time the former Wheel of Fortune host has cracked a joke on Instagram. The same day as he uploaded his world’s daggiest dad post, he also made himself the butt of one:

"Some clown thought he would give me these as a stupid joke belated 50th present .. Well joke's on them coz I've just run out of these and this gift saves me popping down to the shops to get more ..." he wrote.
