So, spring is coming.

Sure, it might still feel like the frosty depths of winter in your neck of the woods, but one morning very soon, you’ll wake up in a light sweat and realise it’s time to pack your lovely, cosy coats away.

And then what?

How will you turn a blah basic outfit into something pulled together, or hide the fact you couldn’t be bothered wearing a strapless bra with a top that technically demands one?

Side note – here’s some excellent spring racing fashion inspiration, post continues after video.

It’s a lot, but you needn’t stress because one of Australia’s best affordable style influencers tipped us off to the $27 linen blazer coming to your rescue.

Enter, the Kmart Longline Blazer.

Tina Abeysekara is the hydrologist turned stylist behind Trash To Treasured, an Instagram account dedicated to hunting down bargain buys under $150.

‘Pick well, style often’ is Tina’s approach to fast fashion, and she’s deemed the $27 Kmart blazer up to the task of taking you to the office, out for drinks and to brunch with a side of halloumi on the weekends.

Now, we just need to learn how to pose like this. Image: Supplied/Tina Abeysekara, @trashtotreasured.

We'll say it again. Does not look $27. Image: Supplied/Tina Abeysekara, @trashtotreasured.

"The linen blazer is lined and the material feels soft, not scratchy at all. The sleeves ruche up easily and it drapes well, and the longline creates a flattering silhouette," Tina toldMamamia.

The Kmart Longline Blazer comes in two very helpful colours – a classic navy and an on-trend beige pinstripe.

Both colours are made from a linen and cotton blend, are cut to hit your body mid-thigh for a longer, leaner silhouette and come in sizes 8-18 (although be warned, Kmart sizing can run a touch small).

Lighter coloured linen gives any outfit a Hot Girl Summer vibe, but Tina also paired her navy blazer with this $25 Short Sleeve Wrap Front Midi Dress in leopard print. Just like its predecessors, the $18 leopard slip skirt, $10 leopard print sneakers and long-sleeve leopard print mini dress, it will no doubt disappear from shelves in days.

In the 48 hours since posting both blazers on her Instagram feed, hundreds have commented on Tina's photos that they've either a) already bought the blazer and are in love or b) are racing to their nearest Kmart to buy in both colours.

In other words, get in quick y'all.

If you miss out on the Kmart blazer or fancy other options, here are some more linen and linen look blazers that'll keep you company as the weather warms up. Enjoy!
