While the rest of us were hurriedly putting some New Year’s plans together, and resolving to be a completely new person come 2016, Kim Kardashian was sharing her resolutions with millions of fans.

She doesn’t ‘believe’ in New Year’s resolutions, but she has set herself some goals for 2016.

“I think setting little goals every month is productive and long-term goals (like saving money or learning a new language) are important, too,” she wrote. “But I don’t need a new calendar year to do that.”

On Thursday, the 35-year-old shared her hopes for the coming year on her app and her website.

First up, she plans to lose the weight she gained during her second pregnancy with Saint, who was born in early December.

“In the next coming months I’d obviously like to shed the baby weight. That’s the big one to accomplish first!”, she wrote.

Kardashian is also aiming to finish the extensive renovations on the house she shares with Kanye West, and go on a family holiday.

“Bae, we could literally go anywhere on vacation.” Image via Instagram: @kimkardashian.

“I’d also like to finish our home next year, so we’re working hard to make decisions and meet deadlines so it gets done.” She added, “I also want to plan a West family vacation – it’s a project in itself to find the time!”

Perhaps the most unexpected of Kardashian’s goals for 2016 was her aim to master the art of doing the splits. “Oh, I also want to learn how to do the splits LOL!” she wrote. It’s highly likely we’ll be following Kim’s progress on social media.

But the resolution that hit closest to home was Kardashian’s promise to be kinder to her mother. Once she had shared her goals for 2016, she added on Twitter, “Just thought of another New Years resolution.I really want to make my moms life easier & be extra nice! She’s the best & does everything 4 us.”

Although, it’s probably hard to be extra nice to your mum when she’s oversharing about her menstrual cycle.

We could probably all do with being kinder to our mothers.

What are your New Year’s resolutions?
