Kim Kardashian West has described the moment a masked man pointed a gun at her and demanded her wedding ring in a leaked police statement of the Paris robbery.
The 36-year-old’s police statement, made hours after the 3 October heist, was obtained by French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche and recently published.
In it, Kardashian West details how “European”-looking men tied her up and placed her in her bathtub of the hotel she was staying at before taking her jewellery and fleeing.
The reality star said she was working at a computer when she “heard noises” at the door just before 3am, and no one answered her calls.
She said she could see the two hooded men dressed in black, one with a ski mask and a jacket marked ‘Police’, before they reached her.
The mother-of-two said she initially denied knowing where her $5.3 million ($4 million) engagement ring was before the masked man threatened her with a gun.
"I answered him saying 'I don’t know', he takes out a weapon and I show him the ring," she said in the statement.
"He pointed the weapon toward me. He takes the ring, he was wearing gloves. He asked me where the jewels and the money are."
Reliving the terrifying moment she was tied up in an interview with police just hours after she was robbed, Kardashian West said she was naked underneath her bathrobe when they "caught me and took me in the lobby".
