Kevin Bacon shares a scary parenting moment.

It could happen to any of us.

Actor Kevin Bacon, 56, is a very experienced father now, being dad to son, Travis and daughter, Sosie,who are well into their 20s.

But it wasn’t always that way.

Bacon has opened up about a scary encounter he and his wife Kyra Sedgwick had just after Travis was born, back in 1989.

“When my son was born — it’s Father’s Day, so I’m thinking about him, especially since he’s here — [Kyra Sedgwick and I] took him back from the hospital. We locked a newborn in the car with the keys in the car and the motor running,” Bacon told Vulture.

“A guy from the garage put his fist through the window and broke in because my wife and I were obviously panicked. My publicist is laughing at me. We were new parents. You know, it was hard," Bacon explained.
