The first pictures of Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough's commitment ceremony are here.

On Saturday, The Today Show host Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends in a ‘commitment ceremony’ at Sydney’s Palm Beach, just one month after Karl had popped the question.

Now, the very first photos of the couple’s special day have been released.

The snaps were shown on The Today Show this morning, and feature Karl and Jasmine posing with Karl’s brother, Peter, and his wife (and also Karl’s co-host), Sylvia Jeffreys.

The ceremony, in which the pair exchanged vows and rings, is not believed to be legally binding, and Jasmine wore a high-necked, floral dress instead of bridal white for the occasion.

Ever the casual gentleman, Karl wore a suit and white button-up shirt, but went sans tie for the occasion.

Another image of brothers Pete and Karl, and new sister-in-laws Jasmine and Sylvia, was also shared with Channel 9 audiences.

Speaking on Weekend Today yesterday - the morning after the couple's celebration - Peter described the event as a "little soirée".

"It was a lot of fun... congratulations to Karl and Jasmine," Pete told audiences.

"They are awesome people... [I'm] proud of them.

"We had a little barbecue, a few XXXX Golds, Karl burnt the snags as usual... it was a good day."

But with the release of the intimate snaps came claims from Karl's ex-wife, Cassandra Thorburn, that she had no idea the ceremony was taking place.

Karl and Cassandra were married for 21 years before their split in 2016.

In a response to a story shared on Facebook about Karl and Jasmine's ceremony, Cassandra hit back at claims she had "forbidden" the couple's children from attending.

"I did not 'forbid' anything," she wrote.

"I didn't even know. How could I have."

Karl and Cassandra have three children together - Jackson, 18, Ava, 12, and 10-year-old River. Despite reports the children helped their father and Jasmine celebrate on the weekend, a source told Daily Mail Australia the media personality's kids were not in attendance.

The 'source' said only Karl's youngest two children were invited, but both declined the invitation, and said Karl's oldest son was not invited at all.

Karl and Jasmine went public with their engagement last month, after Jasmine was spotted attending a party with a very sparkly ring on THAT finger.

Confirming the news to The Fix, Karl said he was "happy and grateful" to have found love with the 34-year-old.

"When Jasmine came into my life, I had no thoughts of new love or the future, but we are happy and grateful we found each other," he said.

"We are yet to work out when we will get married, but probably later this year. We are both very happy."
