The viral docu-style prank series that literally blurred every line between reality and a sitcom is finally back with a new workplace, a new unsuspecting main character, and a whole lot of hot sauce. 

After the first season basically took over the internet, Jury Duty: Company Retreat is officially coming our way, and this time we're trading the jury box for a corporate boardroom.

What is Jury Duty Season 2 about?

This season is taking the Truman Show vibes and dropping them straight into the chaotic world of corporate culture. The story follows Anthony, an unwitting subject who genuinely thinks he's landed a job at a hot sauce company called Rockin' Grandma's. 

As Anthony settles into his new role, he gets whisked away on a corporate retreat where things get intense, fast. He finds himself caught in the middle of a fake corporate takeover by a private equity firm. 

Thinking his new coworkers' livelihoods are on the line, Anthony steps up to protect his work family, having zero clue that everyone around him — from his boss to the corporate sharks — is actually a professional actor.

Who is in Jury Duty Season 2?

While the first season had James Marsden playing a hilariously unhinged version of himself, this season brings in a fresh ensemble of comedic talent to build this fake world around Anthony. 

The cast includes Alex Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Emily Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, Jerry Hauck, Jim A. Woods, LaNisa Renee Frederick, Marc-Sully Saint-Fleur, Rachel Kaly, Rob Lathan, Ryan Perez, Stephanie Hodge, Warren Burke, and Wendy Braun. 

Behind the scenes, the show is being run by the same creative powerhouse as season one, including executive producers David Bernad, Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky, and James Marsden.

What was Jury Duty Season 1 about?

The Emmy-nominated first season followed Ronald Gladden, an everyman who thought he was just doing his civic duty on a standard jury assignment in California. 

For weeks, Ronald was sequestered with a group of eccentric jurors and became a literal global sensation for being so genuine and kind while everything around him was falling apart in the most absurd ways. 

The season ended with the ultimate reveal that the entire trial and every single juror were part of a massive hoax, leaving Ronald as the only person who wasn't in on the joke.

When is Jury Duty Season 2 coming out?

The new season, titled Company Retreat, is officially set for a spring release with a staggered rollout. The premiere hits on March 20 with the first three episodes. After that, we'll get two more episodes on March 27, leading up to a big three-episode season finale on April 3.
