When US television star Julianne Hough approached her groom on their wedding day, he had his back turned, waiting to be surprised by the first look at his soon-to-be-wife ahead of their Idaho ceremony.
When Brooks Laich eventually pivoted around, he could barely contain himself.
Looking upon Hough in her strapless Marchesa dress his bottom jaw fell open. Stunned, he dropped onto his heels, his hands clasped over his mouth and took a moment to stare, before springing up and rushing forward to embrace her.
“Oh my God,” he said through tears. “You’re so beautiful.”

It was the start of what the Dancing With the Stars judge called her “magical” weekend nuptials.
The couple, who became engaged in August 2015, chose Coeur d’Alene as the venue, a lakeside location that Hough used to spend summer holidays as a child.
“When I introduced Brooks to the lake, he fell in love with this special spot, and we knew this was where we wanted to raise our family and grow old together,” the 28-year-old told PEOPLE. “It just felt right to be married here.”
According to PEOPLE, Hough walked down the aisle to OneRepublic’s “All This Time”, which also served as the soundtrack to their first dance as husband and wife.
“Brooks and I kept eye contact the entire ceremony,” she told the publication. “We never stopped looking at each other.”
