Uh oh. Someone was at the Women's March who definitely wasn't meant to be.

If you ever wavered in your belief that Taylor Swift might actually wield the most power in the world while also leading the Illuminati (what? You thought those minions are just there for friendship?) then sit down, sit up straight and focus.

Because I have a small, very slight, much considered feeling that she is on her way to breaking up the Trump family and giving The Donald the giant middle finger in the process.

Here’s why:

Joshua Kushner is the brother of Jared Kushner. Which might mean nothing to you so far.

But if those names are ringing tiny little miniature bells in your brain, that would be because Jared Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump. Ivanka Trump, of course, is known as Donald Trump’s daughter and also kind of weirdly recognised as the unofficial First Lady of the United States. No offense, Melania.

Jared Kushner, a 35-year-old real estate developer, has just been appointed as a senior advisor in the Trump administration because nepotism and similar things. Kushner and Trump are rumoured to be particularly close, with Kushner exerting remarkable influence on Trump’s presidential campaign, in charge of digital strategy and some top-level hires.

Which takes us back to Joshua Kushner, Jared’s brother.

Who, as it turns out, was just spotted at Washington’s Women’s March on Saturday, as revealed by Washingtonian editor Jessica Sidman.

So where does Taylor Swift come into all this?

Swift is best friends with Joshua Kushner’s long-time girlfriend, Karlie Kloss.

So naturally, this must be all her doing. Swift for 2020.

(Or, conversely, it could be all Josh’s doing and maybe he and Kloss really did vote Clinton all along. But that’s nowhere near as exciting to assume, so I’d rather report Taylor Swift as Queen of the White House with total and reckless abandon.)
