The eldest of the Duggar family, Josh Duggar has made his first public appearance since the alleged molestation scandal came to public attention.

In his first appearance since May, Josh has posted a video to the Duggar Family channel with his wife Anna, sending a message to his dad, Jim Bob Duggar, for Father’s Day.
In the video Josh says to his dad that he remembers, “all the moments where you’ve been there for us through the hard times and through the good times. I know that your investment in each one of our lives is priceless, and we’re so grateful for you.”
The video finishes with Anna saying, “Thank you for raising such an awesome husband.” Before the pair go in for a kiss. (Post continues after the video…)
The video has sparked discussion around Josh thanking his father for helping him through the recent tough times when it became public knowledge that he had allegedly molested his siblings when he was younger.
The video follows other public appearances from the Duggars this week. Jill Dillard, 24 and Jessa Seewald, 24, Josh’s sisters, both made their first public appearance too at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival.
The women didn’t address the molestation scandal directly, but said they weren’t a perfect family and had struggles like everyone else.
Josh’s video comes just a week after he posted his first social media photo on Instagram since May – a Happy Birthday message to his four-year-old son.
