A woman was cleaning a house when she came across a bizarre shrine to JonBenet Ramsey.

Oh.

This is… odd.

You see, a woman was cleaning a house somewhere in the United States when she came across a rather bizarre shrine to JonBenet Ramsey.

In case you missed it, JonBenet was found dead in the basement of her family home in Boulder, Colorado, on December 26, 1996.

She was just six years old.

Although many people have become persons of interest in the case over the past 22 years, no one has ever been charged with her murder.

The case continues to baffle police and the public continues to have an almost grotesque fascination with the little girl’s murder.

But this takes that fascination to a WHOLE. NEW. LEVEL.

The shrine in question features a photo of JonBenet Ramsey, surrounded by photos of human teeth and candles.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The woman very quickly took a snap of the shrine and got the hell out of there.

Her friend, Reddit user rachfactory, then posted the image on Reddit.

“A friend of mine saw this in a house she was cleaning,” she wrote.

“Yes those are TEETH and JonBenet, and no we don’t live in Colorado. What is this?”

The post obviously attracted a lot of comments.

Some people thought it may have been some kind of religious shrine that was dedicated JonBenet.

“It seems to be some kind of religious imagery connecting with her, specifically Roman Catholic. The Maltese Cross hints at this and it reminds me of a shrine for saints with body parts to have a physical manifestation of the saint. So, all in all, while creepy and… unusual… I think it has a benign meaning,” wrote northawke.

“With the candles it looks like some kind of shrine for JonBenet… I don’t understand the teeth though. They all have roots so they’re definitely adult teeth…” added MorbidManatee.

While others were just, well, terrified.

“What is it you ask?” said Reddit user xxdibxx. “To me it is this. A full blown verifiable no excuses reason to call the police, FBI, channel ___ news , and pretty much any other person you can think of.”

“Pretty sure if I saw that in someone’s house I’d be running out of that place faster than a bat out of hell,” added jayricault.

Yep. Creepy stuff.
