Jewellery tends to cycle in and out of fashion relevance, but embellishment is really having a moment in 2026.

Beyond zooming in on Zoe Kravitz's left hand (just me?), we're collectively obsessing over what cool women are doing with their jewels right now. And maybe that's because tasteful, directional jewellery has never been more accessible.

In times of economic struggle, women still want to spend money — but we prioritise little treats. A chic necklace or interesting earring can add immense value to your daily wardrobe, without needing to change anything about your clothes.

So whatever you're spending on — whether it's a fun beaded choker or a boujie tennis bracelet, it's a worthwhile investment in your style.

Well, that's my justification and I'm sticking to it!

As a high-key jewellery obsessive, I'm well qualified to advise on the trends we'll all be shopping next.

Just to briefly list the credentials: I've designed a range of affordable gold pieces with Sydney brand Chuchka, am currently working on a line with one of my favourite jewellery designers… and when I couldn't find the high-end beaded styles I was looking for, I started making my own.

With my social algorithm strictly favouring jewellery, my Instagram saved folder is PACKED with research and all the glittering data I need to predict what's about to blow up.

Here are the four key trends I promise you'll be seeing on your feed (and your stylish friends) pronto.

1. Chunky gemstone rings.

If there's one trend dominating my For You page, it's chunky metal rings — especially molten silver ones packed with oversized gemstones. Think of them like the classic 2000s-era mood ring, only elevated for now.

The appeal of these styles is how chic they look as a standalone piece, but you can also pile up multiple rings for a more eclectic feel.

Styled with a minimal outfit, they give off instant cool-girl energy.

Buy one and support a small designer, or head to your local op shop to trawl through the pre-loved treasures.

2. Heavy wrist stacks.

The arm party is back, baby.

After an extended hiatus, where we favoured minimal bangles and dainty chains, we're set to once again layer up our wrists with chunky metal bracelets, eclectic charms and weighty watches in the mix.

I've come across many a tutorial to "get the look" of the perfect wrist stack, but my advice is not to overthink it.

This trend is meant to look a bit messy and lived-in — like you're the well-travelled type who gathers mementos along the way. The more authentic and individual your pieces are to you, the better.

3. Bezel-cut stones.

While "naked diamonds" (set in tiny prongs) have long been fashionable, this year has seen a huge rise in bezel settings — where a stone is wrapped around its rim in precious metal.

Sorry to invoke Ms Kravitz twice in one article, but her single-handed influence on how we're wearing diamonds now can't be overstated (for those of us, er, wearing diamonds.)

Firstly, there's her engagement ring, given to her by one Mr Harry Styles, but there's also her enviable wardrobe of bezel-cut "day diamonds" by London designer Jessica McCormack, for whom Kravitz is an ambassador.

The actress has basically put this setting back on the map, and now we're seeing it take over earrings and pendant necklaces as well as rings.

Don't have a diamond budget? Neither, sis. Cubic zirconia and lab-grown stones achieve the same effect without the massive investment.

4. Joyful charms.

Channelling your childhood charm bracelet, the grown-up version has a nostalgic feel that still sparks joy.

Rather than metal charms, it's all about precious stones cut into playful shapes and cute ceramic pendants embellished with gems.

Colourful paracord is a fresh way to display your collection, or you can loop them onto your go-to chain.

And you're not limited to the wrist; consider a charm anklet or choker to add some whimsy to your daily outfits.
