What a difference a decade can make.

As a softly spoken 15-year-old, Jessica Cornish (a.k.a Jessie J) had stars in her eyes, modest dreams and a belter of a voice.

Singing in the video above, the quietly determined young girl speaks of her desire to be heard on radio one day.

“I just want people to know who I am, and that I’ve tried,” she says before performing Oleta Adam’s power-ballad Get Here.
