A lot of her followers say yes.

Jessica Simpson is no stranger to pouting for the camera and a short scroll through her Instagram would show that her daughter Maxwell loves doing it too.

But this time Maxwell has taken her air kissing skills and planted one on a (gasp) boy.

The singer shared the photo of Maxwell and her friend Zev, also 3, who is the son of Simpson’s pal Nicole Chavez.

She captioned the image with, “Young love.”

Almost instantly the photo whipped up a frenzy over how age-appropriate kissing a boy on the lips is for a 3-year-old.

Some commenters felt it was not appropriate, stating, "Making kids kiss is not cute."

But others did not agree, believing it was innocent fun with adults being the culprits for making it seem unacceptable, putting it down to childhood innocence.
