Another victory for Photoshop. Another loss for any hope of a realistic portrayal of the female body. Oh well, women don’t REALLY need anywhere to store our internal organs. That’s what handbags are for!

The first shot was leaked and makes a mockery of the second which appears as part of a Campari calendar, shot by legendary photographer Mario Testino. Actually, it may have been him who demanded the retouching. Most photographers insist on doing their own.

I wonder how the shots leaked? Someone must have been pissed off. Maybe it was A NEW MOTHER WHO WAS INDIGNANT ABOUT ALL THE ‘LOOK HOW HOT NEW MAMA JESS IS MERE MONTHS AFTER HER BABY WAS BORN?’

That is the sound of me feeling a little bit better about myself.
