1. Buddy Franklin and his baby are cute ‘n’ all. But can we talk about that blanket?

This week, model Jesinta Franklin and AFL player Lance “Buddy” Franklin welcomed their first child together.

“Jesinta and Lance are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby daughter, Tallulah Franklin,” a spokesperson for the couple told The Daily Telegraph. “They are both absolutely besotted with her.”

On Friday, Buddy Franklin posted the first photo of their daughter to his Instagram page, revealing the sweet nickname they use for her.

“Lulu and I are all set for the #AFLOrigin game tonight @afl Go the All- Stars,” the AFL player captioned the post, with his newborn baby covered up in his arms.

Which is, of course, very cute.

But there is something we need to talk about. You see, the blanket which Buddy is using for his daughter looks suspiciously like an Hermès Avalon Throw. Which costs $2,215.

Goodness. Gracious.

This kid is literally only a few days old, and she already has nicer things than us. Not that we’re jealous of a baby or anything…

Onwards.

2. The Lizzie McGuire reboot is on hold because it’s not… PG.

Sorry, Disney fans. But Lizzie McGuire is all grown up now and that means her shenanigans are no longer PG-rated, thank you very much.

The reboot of the popular 00s Disney show has been put on hold due to disagreements over the classification rating.

“Was incredibly excited to launch ‘Lizzie’ on [streaming service Disney+] and my passion remains!” star Hilary Duff said in a statement on Instagram.  “However, I feel a huge responsibility to honour the fans’ relationship with LIZZIE who, like me, grew up seeing themselves in her.”

The 32-year-old actress continued: “I’d be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting the realities of a 30-year-old’s journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating.

“It’s important to me that just as her experiences as a preteen/teenager navigating life were authentic, her next chapters are equally as real and relatable.

“It would be a dream if Disney would let us move the show to Hulu, if they were interested, and I could bring this beloved character to life again.”

However it seems Duff’s request to move the show to Hulu hasn’t exactly been agreed upon by Disney.

“We paused production on ‘Lizzie McGuire’ a few weeks ago to allow time for some creative re-development,” a statement from Disney read, according to People. “Our goal is to resume production and to tell an authentic story that connects to the millions who are emotionally invested in the character, and a new generation of viewers too.”

3. Prince ‘Just call me Harry’ Harry has recorded a song with Bon Jovi.

Testing, testing????… • Recorded inside Abbey Road Studios, home to The Beatles and other music legends, The Duke of Sussex joins Jon Bon Jovi and the Invictus Games Choir for a special live session in aid of the Invictus Games Foundation. The song being played, called ‘Unbroken’, was created by Jon Bon Jovi to shine a spotlight on those veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI), to honour their service and acknowledge the strength of the Armed Forces community. The Duke and JBJ are both strong supporters of the military community, with The Duke founding the Invictus Games in 2014. The Invictus Games Choir, made up of wounded, injured and sick veterans and serving personnel from all services and different ranks of the UK Armed Forces, have come together to use the power of music to aid their recovery. As part of the Invictus Games in May, The Invictus Games Choir will be performing Bon Jovi’s hit song, Unbroken. The choir performed the song at the studios for both the rocker and the prince.

Although Harry will not be performing with the choir, he did pair up with Bon Jovi to record a duet.

Uploading a teaser to the Sussex Royal Instagram, it shows Harry and Bon Jovi preparing to sing.

The New Jersey rocker and Harry were also spotted posing on the famous Abbey Road crossing, as fans swarmed around them.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be stepping down from their royal duties on March 31. Until then, the pair will be attending six final events as royals, with this meeting being one of them.

Up next: Harry and Meghan will attend the annual Endeavour Fund Awards on March 5.

4. ‘Shit just got real’. Ashley Graham is determined to show us what newborn parenting really looks like.

Ashley Graham is candid. So candid that she shared the reality of being out with a newborn who needs a nappy change, with no restrooms in sight.

The New York City-based model uploaded a photo to Instagram earlier today, showing what that situation looks like.

She captioned the photo of her and baby Isaac, “Sh*t just got real! First diaper blow up while running errands with no restroom in sight! Thank god I remembered to put the changing mat in the diaper bag!!”

Good thing she did.

Graham is no stranger to openly sharing the less Instagramable moments of her life.

Since giving birth to her son on January 18, she has been open about everything motherhood. That includes her post-baby body, the stretch marks that come with it and breastfeeding in public.

5. Nipple pasties and tiny thongs. The Bold Type’s Katie Stevens shares what it’s like to shoot a sex scene.

Katie Stevens is well aware that her job is a little weird.

The 27-year-old actress is now in her fourth season of portraying journalist Jane Sloan on The Bold Type, a role that sees her do everything from filming comedic shower-sex scenes to debating white privilege and women’s fertility alongside two other actresses who now feel like family.

For Katie, who married musician Paul DiGiovanni in 2019, filming the show’s sex scenes has been a particularly memorable experience and one that takes a lot more work behind the scenes than viewers watching at home would ever guess.

“What’s been really interesting is that along with Jane’s journey of becoming more comfortable with her sexuality and me having to film those scenes is that it has done that for me as well,” she told Mamamia's daily celebrity podcast The Spill. “I’m not a person who leads with my sexuality in my own life. I am a sexual person, but I keep that between me and my partner. So to have to strip down and be intimate with (co-star) Dan (Jeannotte), someone who is not my husband, it’s a jarring experience.

“I have to be in nipple pasties and teeny tiny nude thongs in front of cameramen and the guy holding the microphone. There are so many people on set.

“But Dan Jeannotte is the loveliest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He has always been a person who has wanted to protect me so deeply in these situations. Every time we’ve started filming a sex scene he says ‘let me know if you want to stop’ or ‘let me know if your nipple covers are coming off’."
