Prison Bae is cashing in on his criminally good looks.

It was the mugshot that had women (and men) around the world begging to be locked up. The piercing blue eyes, the chiselled jaw, the plump lips…

But two years on, former gang member Jeremy Meeks has put his criminal past behind him, focusing instead on pursuing an inevitable modelling career.

And judging by his social media accounts, it’s serving him pretty bloody well.

The Californian man has shared numerous pictures via Instagram of his luxe new life; from a sports car (a $200,000+ Maserati Quattroporte)…

...to this palatial mansion, which he shared alongside the caption, "God is good."

The 32-year-old, who was jailed for weapons charges, shot to fame after his mugshot was posted to the Stockton Police Department Facebook page in June 2014.

The broody, highly shared image saw Meeks dubbed 'the world's hottest felon', a title which has earned him modelling work with several US brands since his release in March 2016.

According to Meeks' Instagram, he has also reunited with wife, Melissa Meeks, with whom he has a seven-year-old son.

"Celebrating our 8 year anniversary today and 50 more to go," he posted last week. "Through thick and thin! #blessed #loved #aniversary #marriage"

Meeks has amassed over 600,000 followers on Instagram since his viral mugshot was released.

On the photographs capturing his newfound success, the majority of commenters have expressed admiration for his decision to turn his life around.

"No matter what you did," wrote one, "always remember, 'every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future'."
