I feel like there’s a Jennifer Lawrence tipping point. There are only so many times the world can be told she’s our BFF before everyone turns against her.
It could be happening right now, I’m not sure, but according to headlines Jennifer Lawrence is RUDE and NOT CUTE ANYMORE.
Why? Well, fresh from her Golden Globe win for best actress in a musical or comedy for Joy, Lawrence, 25, called out a reporter who couldn’t stop looking at his mobile phone during a press conference backstage.
“You can’t live your whole life behind your phone, bro,” Lawrence told him.
“You can’t do that, you’ve got to live in the now.”
The reporter, who it must be noted, was Juan Pablo Fernández-Feo who works for Latin American E! network. He is a native Spanish speaker. He may have been looking at his phone to keep his questions straight and make sure he worded them correctly, I don’t know.
Fernández-Feo apologised and continued trying to ask his question: “How do you see yourself for the Oscar[s] night…” before Lawrence cut him off again.
“We’re at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you’d know that,” she said. Everyone laughed, including Fernández-Feo.
Of course, Fernández-Feo was probably actually intending to ask her about her Oscars chances, but why let boring questions get in the way of a bit of fun?

Well, the press can't keep writing stories about how nice and down-to-earth she is forever, can they! The 'backlash' it inevitable, soon we'll be hearing stories about how difficult she is to work with, how she's turning into a diva, how she stole someone's boyfriend...
I'm pretty sure Jennifer Lawrence will care what people think considering her success is based on people liking her and wanting to see her films. Actors can appear as though they do not care what people think, however, they are just as concerned about their image as everyone else - only public perception has the ability to cost them millions. This is why they hire publicists.
