Jennifer Aniston's favourite hair product is, well, surprisingly gross.

I’m not going to lie, whenever I hear about a new, “life-changing” hair product, I have to own it. But Jennifer Aniston’s go-to styling product is just so very, erm, personal, I know that I’ll never get my hands on it.

Oh, and also, it’s a bit gross.

You can’t buy this hair product in a hair salon, or even online. In fact, no-one can buy it. Why? Because Jennifer Aniston’s favourite hair product is her own sweat.

I’m feeling a lot of conflicting things right now. Number one: really, Jen, really? Number two: Why am I spending a fortune on hair products when the woman with the world’s most amazing hair just basks in her own secretions?

I’m having a beauty editor identity crisis here.

Fashionista recently asked Jennifer Aniston if she washed her hair post-workout, and she replied: “No, I don’t. I actually don’t. A little sweat in the hair is nice. It’s like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers and it’s actually just fun.”

Now, I can think of many adjectives to describe sweat. There’s “slimey” and “smelly”. But, I would never describe it in the same way as Jennifer Aniston just did. Let’s go over that again:

She describes sweat in the hair as “nice”. She says it’s “like a little product”. She said, “it’s actually just fun”. (Post continues after gallery.)

I would love to know what Rachel Green, Aniston’s character from Friends, would say about this. Rachel was a fashion-conscious, rich girl and back in the ’90s, we all coveted her hair. It even had its own name: “The Rachel”.

I have a feeling that Rach would never dream of using her own sweat as a hair product. I think I need to go and binge-watch several episodes of Friends, because this hair news is too much for me to handle.
