Janet Jackson just shared the first photo of her baby son Eissa.

Earlier this year Janet Jackson welcomed her son Eissa into the world and now the star has shared the first photo of mum and bub together.

The 50-year-old singer posted the photo to Twitter, captioning it: “My baby and me after nap time”.

Eissa Al Mana was born on 3 January this year and he’s the son of Jackson and her estranged husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana.

The couple recently separated, and one source told Page Six that Janet felt her husband had become “too controlling” throughout her pregnancy.

“She had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts,” the source said.

“It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base.”

A source recently told E! News Janet is doing really well after giving birth and going through a separation in just a matter of months.

“Janet is getting her strength back and feeling well,” the source said. “She has so much help around her, so that has alleviated stress. She just feels so blessed everything went well and her baby is healthy.”

Janet and Wissam had been married for five years.
