The watermelon trend that's taking over your social media.

If you’ve seen a few funky-shaped watermelons on your feed of late, rest assured, you’re certainly not the only one.

Like any good social media craze – usually with little substance, reason and a very unclear origin – the watermelon dress is beginning to saturate our newsfeeds with everyone from Sylvia Jeffreys to Emma Bunton on board.

A week ago, The Ellen Show shared an image of the trend on its cutest little model (a baby, obviously) and with that watermelons across the seas have been nibbled and manipulated within an inch of their lives to become the most beautiful dresses.
