The man who stole the show was not the winner, or the runner up. It was this gorgeous little fellow.
After 6 weeks in the bug-ridden jungle, it all came down to this moment on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. And it wasn’t the moment when the winner was announced.
This evening was the finale of the first Australian edition of the show, with British cricketer Freddie Flintoff, radio and TV personality Chrissie Swan and former AFL captain Barry Hall fighting it out for the charity prize.
But before the champion was named, the finalists received some very special visitors from home. For mother of three, Swan, being in the jungle on the other side of the world for six weeks away from her family, had been pretty damn tough.
So when her eldest son Leo came traipsing into the jungle to surprise her, the emotional reaction was something pretty special.
Chrissie Swan has copped a lot of criticism for being on I’m A Celebrity…. Get Me Out Of Here. The former radio host and was very publicly and very unfairly slammed on Twitter this week for her decision to leave her family to “chase fame” in South Africa.
Well? To all the haters – just have a look at the joyous expression on little Leo’s face.
