Things got ugly with the pretty people lining  up in NYC to audition for America’s Next Top Model this week. The New York Daily News reports it started at dawn when the girls who had slept in line overnight got stroppy with the girls who arrived well-rested and without undereye bags and tried to cut in front of them. For further evidence that modelling is all about the glam, look no further than the fact that when girls found out that leaving the queue for any reason meant they lost their place, they decided to wee in plastic cups. Eat your heart out Claudia Schiffer.

As hours passed and thousands of people were crammed so tight their spray tans began to smudge, scuffles began to break out. Then someone shouted ‘”There’s a bomb!”

which caused chaos. In the end, a bunch of wannabe models were taken to hospital and a few were arrested for starting a riot. The casting call never happened. I’m thinking Tyra is TOTALLY going to use this as inspiration for a challenge….
