Content warning: We’re about to have a laugh at the expense of a very well-intentioned grandma.

Somewhere in the world, another grandma has had another lovely thought. A thought that likely went something close to… ‘Boys like sharks, boys also like presents, I like to crochet.’

A few balls of wool lateret voila:a shark blanket for her grandson.

Lucky for him. And as it turns out, lucky for us, because a picture of this impressive creation was uploaded to the internet.

It’s got teeth. It’s got eyes. It’s even got a tail. Unfortunately, it’s also got a “fin”…

"Grandma crocheted a shark blanket..."

We don't know this boy's name. We don't know where he lives. But we do know he's got a profile picture for life.

The question is: does he?

Does... does he know? Image: Imgur.

(Whoever is taking the photo definitely, definitelydoes.)

Of course, we shouldn't dis this obviously devoted Nan. She's not only eager to please her grandson, but clearly very adept with a crochet hook.

Just look at that glorious US flag blanket on the back of the couch. Pure patriotism in toasty, comfy wool form.

I wonder if she takes commissions?

Have you ever had a DIY project go horribly, horribly wrong?

Listen: Not everyone is on board with whipping up home-made gifts.
