It must have been an early start in mega-mansions around Hollywood as glam squads descended to prepare their charges for red-carpet appearances at the Golden Globes.
Stylists have already been prepping for this event for weeks — talking to designers, securing samples, and getting the stars in for fittings.
And, lucky for us, we get an insider’s look into the whole glorious affair, thanks to Instagram and exhibitionism.
The entire process can cost upwards of $40,000, according to the New York Post.
In fact, designers such as Chanel and Dior actually fly their own couture-trained tailors in from Europe to ensure everything looks just right.
Then of course, there’s the hair, the make-up, and the borrowed jewels which require security guards and armoured vehicles.
Phew! We hope the Hollywood Foreign Press Association appreciates it.
The show is airing from 8pm, Northern Hemisphere time (that’s midday AEST).
