Gogglebox stars Grant and Stacey Jackson have become grandparents aged just 35 and 36.

Gogglebox’s largest family, the Jacksons, got a little bigger during the show’s season break.

Stacey, 35 and Grant, 36 became grandparents as their eldest son Corey, 18, and his fiancée Taya welcomed a baby girl in December.

Taya and Corey’s daughter, named Norah, was born on December 17.

The couple announced the happy news on social media back then, however word has only just spread with the show’s return this month.

Norah has been absent from the Jacksons’ couch so far, but Corey has been proudly sharing photos of his little girl on Facebook since her birth.

News of Corey’s impending fatherhood came as a shock to the Stacey and Grant, who had been teenage first-time parents themselves.

“Corey took us aside and said he had to talk to us about something… our very first reaction was probably shock,” the father-of-six told New Idea.

"It was after that moment I had this feeling of love for this little person I hadn't met yet but who was going to make a very special addition to our family's lives," she said.

Grant said he wanted to shield his son from the difficulty of young parenthood.

"It was hard having a baby young, and I didn't want it to be as hard for them as it was for us," he said.

Stacey, who has now been married to Grant for 15 years, told her children in an earlier episode that she faced discrimination as a young mum.

"We got judged big time when we had you," Stacey said.

"I remember one person saying to me one time, you’ve got three of them, are they all from the same father?"

Gogglebox airs on Thursdays on Channel 10 at 8.30pm.
