When Georgia Love decided to quit her job to pursue romance on The Bachelorette, she didn’t come home empty handed. But she did come home unemployed.

While the formerWIN Hobartnewsreader has been fairly pragmatic about her chances of returning to the news desk after her emotional turn on reality TV, she could be back on our screens sooner than expected.

The 27-year-old has landed a gig as a presenter and panelist onStudio Tenduring the Summer non ratings period, with Channel Tenconfirming the appointment to Fairfax Media this morning.

Basically, it means the network can see how audiences respond to her without affecting the show’s ratings, which at present lag behind their morning TV competitors atSunriseandToday.

If all goes well, Love could settle into a permanent position alongside Sarah Harris, Joe Hildebrand, Ita Buttrose and Jessica Rowe.

Now this is obviously great news and congratulations are certainly in order, but before we go popping the champers there is one teenie tiny problem:Studio 10is filmed in Pyrmont, Sydney.

If Love is forced to relocate interstate it could mean a long distance relationship with new partner Lee Elliot, with the pair currently based in Melbourne, or a complete move all together.

Melbourne is a city both Georgia and Lee repeatedly vocalised their affection for during the courting process. But at the end of the day, Sydney would look great on both of them.

Congratulations on the new gig, Georgia.
