“Aw, are you having a boy or a girl?”
It’s what every parent-to-be is asked as soon as the lines appear on the pee stick. But Kyl Myers and her partner Brent are two of a growing number of parents who refused to answer that question and made the choice to raise their child as “gender creative”. Kyl and Brent have never publicly disclosed the biological sex of their child Zoomer, and they don’t use the pronouns ‘he’ or ‘she’. They intend to let Zoomer decide on what gender to identify as, if any, as they grow.
So what’s it like raising a gender creative child? Why choose to do it? And what happens next?

Can someone just work out a gender neutral singular pronoun! I know someone that was dating a person who chose (as an adult) to be nongender/agender?? And it was so hard in conversation because you can't always use a person's name and saying 'they' instead of 'he/she' just doesn't work - sounds so weird and confusing as it is a plural not a singular...
There is one. It's called "hen". It originated in Sweden. Google "Hen pronoun Sweden".
I am so over these modern time parents. Why going as far as letting a child decide what gender they choose to be? A child may choose based on their interests and likes and that sure has nothing to do with gender feelings or sexual orientation! Let them be children! Honestly leave them alone! A boy is a boy and girl is a girl! Our gender is what we are born with, we have reproductive organs to diferentiate that. If an adult person develops feelings that they are not comfortable whit who they are, that's another story, but telling a kid they can choose their sex is so wrong. It's not fair. Let boys play with dolls and let girls play with cars. Don't mess stereotypes with gender, don't confuse little humans, this world is already getting overcrowded with messed up people, who are sadly messing up with the future generations. Too much liberation, too much political correctness.
