Dear parents, we're so so sorry. 'Frozen' the musical is coming to Australia.

If you thought the days of your children screaming singing along to the Frozen soundtrack were over, think again.

The Broadway musical version of the film is on its way to Australia… so you just know the lyrics of ‘Let It Go’ will once more be haunting your dream.

There’ll be kids, adults and well… us bursting into song at any given moment. In the supermarkets, on the street, at work.

Frankly, we can’t wait. Any excuse to bust out all the songs to Frozen soundtrack is fine by us.

(Yes, we quite literally have no chill).

The musical will premiere on our shores in July next year at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre – and it’ll be the first international production of the Broadway show.

Yes, we get it hot (or cold?) from Broadway.

It’s directed and choreographed by Tony Award winners Michael Grandage and Rob Ashford, and the storyline will follow the 2013 hit Disney movie.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s a cracker of a tale about the bond between two sisters, one with magical powers to command snow and ice.

They sing a lot and there’s a talking snowman.

…That’s about the gist of it.

The Broadway show looks a little something like this:

“It was immediately clear that this story of these two loving sisters would sing onstage,” the president and producer of Disney Theatrical Productions, Thomas Schumacher, said.

“This creative team has created a glorious production and I’m delighted that Australia will be its first international destination.”

There is, of course, a waiting list for tickets, so you’ll want to keep an eye on to snap some up for your kids, nieces and nephews or… you and your mates.
