When Lady Gaga was in Australia earlier this year she recorded a cracking interview with Tracy Grimshaw on A Current Affair where she talked about gay marriage, being bullied and not caring about what other people think. Take a look:

Urg. She's so exhausting!
I read somewhere that her producers warned her early on that she would need a 'thing' in order to crack the music business and if she wanted to be a 'star' she would need to be outrageous to stand out from the crowd. One of her producers said something along the lines of 'she knew she wasn't a stand out beauty so we decided we would detract from that and focus more on her image'. I think that's pretty interesting.
Although I think she has a good voice, I think she's gone over to 'the other side'. It always seems too much. I prefer artists like Adele who are all about the voice and the talent rather than image and controversy.
Rihanna is another singer who has a good voice but for me ruins it with her sexed up image and her ridiculous music videos.
Whatever happened to standing in front of a microphone and just singing a song!
