A simple tweet has perfectly depicted just how insane France’s burkini ban is.
For those who aren’t familiar with the French law, following recent terrorist attacks it is now illegal to don a burkini – which covers the body and head – in 15 of the country’s cities.
On Tuesday, images were released of police confronting a sunbaker on a Nice beach, appearing to hand her an on-the-spot fine for wearing her religious dress.
According to AFP, a French news agency, that fine read ‘she was not wearing an outfit respecting good morals and secularism.’
If that doesn’t sound crazy all on its own, we’ll let this do the talking…
That photo really does say more than words ever could.
Unsurprisingly, the response was swift.

I made this a while back. Personally I'd protest with Victorian swim dresses. I'm not Muslim but istand with them against this.
france is clearly trying to keep followers of islam(not sure of the pc term sorry ) out of their country
There are 5 million Muslims living in France, so I think the ship has sailed on that one.
